ANZAC Writing

Walt: Retell the story of ANZAC day in our own words using description and detail.

I learned that trenches are 2meters deep

I achieved my goal because I used more descriptive words and more adjectives. I also wrote a whole page.

Next time I will try and use three or two page.

On the 25th of April 1915 New Zealand,Australian and British soldiers went to Gallipoli to fight in world war one.Against the Turks.When the New Zealanders and the diggers [Australians] arrived the Turks were in position up on the hills. It went dark while some of the ships and boats were still in the ocean.After a while the ships and boats landed on the beach,but they weren't ready.
